Purple Shirt Realty Presents

Houston-Area Special Events

Festivals, concerts, family fun, theater, sports and more happening all across the Houston area this month. Scroll down — hopefully something on here is worth checking out!

📅 August 2026

Hey there — it's Robert with Purple Shirt Realty 👋

Hope you're having an amazing summer! I put together a list of some great things happening around the Houston area in August and wanted to share it with you. Scroll down — hopefully something on there is worth checking out.

But real quick before the list —

If you know anyone thinking about buying a home right now, this is honestly one of the best times I've seen in a while to make a move. Here's why:

We currently have new construction homes available with interest rates as low as 4.99%, $0 closing costs, and $0 down options depending on qualification. Depending on the area, that translates to (brand new, move-in ready) 3-bedroom homes from $1,800 to $2,300+ per month and 4-bedroom homes from $1,900 to $2,400+ per month.

Most people have no idea opportunities like this exist right now. If you know someone renting, relocating, or just thinking about it — please pass this along and have them mention your name when they reach out. I take great care of referrals.

As always, I'm just a text away for anything at all — 832-551-9151.

Now here's your August list 👇
